Why do I need a patch test?
As with any products which will potentially enter the body, be it eyelash tint or semi-permanent pigments, there is always a risk of adverse reaction. It is an insurance requirement to inform your therapist if it has been 6 months or more since you last had a treatment which would require a repeat patch test and of course in advance of your very first treatment.
If I have a consultation, am I obliged to proceed with the treatment?
Not at all! Consultations are all about becoming fully informed so you can make the decision that’s best for you. In some cases the treatment you think is the right option may not be after Aileens lengthy chat with you or she may advise you to consider an alternative treatment.
Why will my treatment take 2 visits?
In the case of semi permanent makeup, the skin can only absorb a certain amount of pigment in one go, therefore allowing the skin to heal properly in between is key to a successful long term result.
How long will my recovery be?
Generally, a week of precise aftercare is necessary to allow the skin to heal & recover. Any aftercare product necessary will be provided by Aileen.
When will I see a result?
Although a noticeable improvement is visible immediately after treatment, it typically takes 4 weeks to see a true result. Remember, these treatments are not just superficial to your skin, we need to be realistic about the changes that occur during the healing proccess and you must be patient with your body's healing ability – as they say ‘Good things come to those who wait!’
- In the case of grooming treatments the good news is, results are instant!How long will the results last?
There is no definite answer to this as there are many factors that affect the long term result such as, age, skin type, lifestyle and general health so this is also a reason for a one to one with Aileen so you can make the right decision!

As of Sept 1st 2021, Credit/Debit card details will be required at the time of booking and kept on file only to be used in the event of a ‘no show’ or late cancellation (less than 24hrs) whereby you will be asked to pay for the treatments.Advanced Treatments Microblading/Eyeliner/Plasma Pen
A booking deposit of 25% will have to be paid to secure your booking which can be done through the website. In cases where less than 48hours is given to cancel or in the event of a no show, you will loose the deposit paid.I have resisted implementing such a policy for several months now but unfortunately due to a reoccurring lack of consideration for my service over the summer months in particular, I have been left with no choice but to make very clear my policies regarding bookings and cancellations going forward.
